We are working with one of Greece’s largest passenger ferry operators, which faced challenges in managing rest hour compliance and coordinating crew scheduling across its fleet. Supervisors had limited visibility and control over work and rest hour data, while existing processes made it difficult to efficiently manage crew by trip and rank. There was also a need to strengthen security and improve integration with manning agents.

SDSD delivered tailored enhancements to the Rest Hour Module, enabling supervisors to review and manage work and rest hours with restricted access across vessel teams. The solution introduced work hour scenarios by trip and rank and integrated manning agents directly into the crew management workflow, along with controlled sign-on and sign-off permissions.

The implementation improved crew scheduling efficiency, strengthened regulatory compliance, and enhanced accountability across operations. Improved supervisory controls and integrated workflows provided better visibility, security, and overall operational efficiency across the fleet.
