Here we take a closer look at the Yeezy Powerphase Black. Following last year’s style, this pair arrives as part of the Season 6 Collection, launching via adidas UK and other retailers this spring.
Whilst it may not boast the universal appeal of other styles, there’ll be plenty of sneakerheads hoping to cop! Be sure to leave us a comment below and let us know your thoughts on this release.
Likened to a vintage Reebok, the Powerphase divides opinion in the sneaker community. That said, to truly appreciate this silhouette, it has to be seen up-close. It’s the buttery soft leather which makes the shoe so desirable. Along with the iconic adidas details, the Yeezy Powerphase Core Black promises a timeless aesthetic that can be worn with most outfits.
The Powerphase Black arrives as the third colourway for this silhouette, otherwise known as the Yeezy Calabasas. It’s one of several releases from Kanye West and adidas coming in early 2018. That dark colourway extends across the entire upper, even featuring to the midsole underfoot. The only contrast comes in the form of gold coloured ‘Calabasas’ writing which sits across the sidewall along with that red and green adidas Originals logo.
The Yeezy Powerphase Black is releasing across worldwide Consortium stockists on 17th March. Stay glued to our social media pages for more updates and stockist alerts on the run up to launch.
