SDSD launch new development facility in Poland to match growing demand for real time business intelligence applications in the maritime industry

SDSD are pleased to announce the opening of SDSD Poland, a new development facility in addition to existing development centres in London, UK, Sofia, Bulgaria and Bhubaneswar, India.

Trushar Panchal, Head of Solution Design and Delivery for SDSD, explains “We chose Poland, as Wroclaw has excellent technical universities with a growing talent pool to attract resource from. In addition we have always been impressed by the skill-set and innovative attitude to development there, so expanding our operation in Wroclaw is a natural fit. “

SDSD have quadrupled the size of the development team in the last year, enabling the company to increase the development and consultancy projects it can undertake.

Panchal continues: “In addition to the demand for our new generation software platform ‘Matrix’, we are also expanding our consultancy services which are tailored towards IT Advisory and Application Development to enable the unique needs of our clients to be realised.”

The SDSD consultancy services are tailored towards Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions. Along with other services to provide seamless integration with other enterprise/corporate systems and provide real time Business Intelligence. Furthermore, the team will be able to enhance other SDSD products which are aimed towards the Commercial and Operations side of the Maritime Industry. The newly expanded team will also develop products to meet the growing demand of Smartphone and Handheld applications.

The new facility will work closely with SDSD’s expanding Professional Services team as they continue to develop the increasingly successful consultative approach and will focus on precise requirements of individual client projects, as well as expanding the SDSD portfolio of products and services in new areas.

Panchal continues, “The opening of this new facility allows SDSD to bring further advanced Maritime IT Solutions which enable clients to react quickly with real time Business Intelligence and provide seamless integration with existing corporate Management Information Systems.”
